The Role of the Transport Factor in Azerbaijan's Defense Potential
Abstract
The transport sector is of strategic importance in strengthening the defense potential of Azerbaijan. Within the framework of this topic, the impact of transport infrastructure on the country's defense capability, the issues of adapting transport vehicles and infrastructure for the effectiveness of military-logistical operations are studied. The development of the transport network, especially the compliance of railways and highways with modern requirements, plays an important role in both internal and regional security. The main focus is on the use of Azerbaijan's geographical location, transit potential and logistical capabilities. The article considers the role of planning and organizing military transport in the defense strategy, as well as ways to optimize transport resources in the defense sector through the application of modern technologies. At the same time, the development of transport and logistics capabilities within the framework of international cooperation is considered an important mechanism for strengthening the defense potential. The proposed approaches aim to contribute to the development of the defense sector of Azerbaijan in accordance with modern requirements.
