The Role of Parental Relations in the Development of Children's Personality
Abstract
Family is the most important factor influencing the formation of personality. In the family, children join life in a simple and natural way. The family lays the foundation for the child's understanding of the world, he learns moral values, social norms and cultural traditions from the first years. Child upbringing is closely related to the problem of parents' personality formation. Parents themselves should be at the appropriate level to instill in the child sensitivity and a moral attitude to people.
Observing the relationship between father and mother in everyday life, the child learns a certain type of relationship between men and women. Parental relationship is one of the main models of children's future marital relationship. If the father is rude to his mother, the son may develop a psychological attitude that being a man means being rude. The daughter of such a family gets used to thinking that starting a family is inherently a very scary thing, it binds a woman's hands and feet, deprives her of her freedom and dignity. Such relationships often lead to the disintegration of the family
It seems that there is no need to specifically prove that the breakdown of a marriage, such as the family war that often precedes divorce, has the greatest impact on children.
