The Interaction of Written Speech and Human Cognition:

Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Azerbaijani Linguistics

Abstract

Written speech plays an important role in preserving and transmitting knowledge while supporting the development of logical, analytical, and creative thinking. The study shows that combining traditional and interactive teaching methods strengthens both language norms and students’ independent writing skills. Although digital communication has expanded the speed and reach of written expression, it also creates challenges for maintaining language standards. Overall, the development of written speech is a shared responsibility of education and society and contributes to the protection of the national language and the growth of cognitive culture.
