Pedagogical and Psychological Foundations of Developing the

Sense of Love for the Homeland in Primary School Students

Abstract

This article explores the pedagogical and psychological foundations of fostering love for the homeland among primary school students. The study reveals that instilling national and moral values in children should not be limited to theoretical knowledge but must also be supported through emotional and social activities. Teachers’ methods, parents’ roles in everyday life, and school-organized events strengthen students’ sense of national identity and attachment to their homeland. Psychological approaches, particularly the theories of Erikson, Piaget, and Vygotsky, provide a scientific basis for understanding this process.

Findings indicate that the integration of pedagogical and psychological approaches contributes to raising socially responsible, patriotic, and nationally conscious youth.
