Investigations of Behavioral Analysis of Children With Autism Syndrom
Abstract
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder caused by anomalies in brain development, leading to difficulties in social interaction, communication, and behavior. Children with ASD exhibit behavioral disturbances such as aggressive behavior, self-harm, stereotypic movements, and difficulties in social interaction. The causes of these behaviors include sensory sensitivity, communication difficulties, and environmental adaptation problems. Researchers such as Lorna Wing, Uta Frith, Simon Baron-Cohen, Ole Ivar Lovaas, Catherine Lord, and Fred Volkmar have studied various aspects of ASD and proposed treatment methods. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is highly effective in reducing behavioral disturbances in children with ASD. Medication can, in some cases, reduce aggressive behavior and self-harm. An inclusive educational environment helps enhance the social skills and self-confidence of children with autism. Family members should actively participate in their child's educational process, creating a supportive environment at home and in educational settings. Early intervention and continuous support significantly improve the quality of life for children with ASD. Personalized treatment and educational programs yield better results.
