The Impact of the Principle of Social Responsibility and Ethics on the Sustainable Development of Education
Ilgar Huseynov
Abstract. This article examines the role of two key factors in improving and sustaining the education system, namely social responsibility and professional ethics. Social responsibility in education means that educational institutions, teachers, and even students pay attention to the needs of society and actively participate in solving social problems. Ethical principles such as honesty, respect, and justice in the educational process play an important role in creating a healthy environment. Adherence to these principles improves the quality of learning, strengthens human relationships in the educational environment, and increases public trust in the education system.
The article concludes that combining social responsibility with ethical principles lays the foundation for sustainable development in education, since such a combination also helps to improve the quality of education. By fulfilling their social responsibilities, educational institutions can not only improve educational equity and the rationality of resource allocation, but also increase public trust in the education system. Ethical principles provide behavioral norms for educational practice, help to develop a sense of social responsibility and value judgment in students, and thereby promote holistic development. Overall, this article emphasizes that integrating social responsibility and moral principles into educational reforms helps build a more equitable, inclusive, and long-term stable education system.
