Symptoms, Complications and Statistical Indicators of Diabetes Mellitus

Among the Residents of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2024

 

Abstract

 

Currently, diabetes mellitus is one of the most common diseases of the endocrine system. Thus, after cardiovascular diseases, trauma, and malignant tumors, diabetes mellitus is more common. Diabetes mellitus (Diabetes mellitus) refers to a group of diseases that affect how the body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is an important source of energy for the cells that make up muscles and tissues.

The main cause of diabetes varies depending on the type. However, depending on the type of diabetes, it can cause excess sugar in the blood. Too much sugar in the blood can cause serious problems.

Chronic high blood sugar can lead to complications that are usually irreversible. Several studies have shown that untreated chronic high blood sugar shortens your life and worsens your quality of life. This article examines the development and spread of diabetes among people in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The results of the study show that a healthy lifestyle plays an important role in preventing the spread of diabetes and maintaining normal blood glucose levels.
