Innovation in the Development of the Agrarian Economy

Abstract

The article extensively examines the issues related to the development of the export potential of the agricultural sector. In a globalized world, the access of agricultural products to international markets, the strengthening of local production, and the expansion of export opportunities hold strategic importance for the national economy. In this context, enhancing the export potential of agriculture requires improvements in product quality, the refinement of certification processes in compliance with international standards, and the strengthening of logistics infrastructure.

As in all sectors of the economy, the importance of centralized state control in the agricultural sector has been emphasized. The article also presents several recommendations for stimulating the development of the agricultural sector. Primarily, it is proposed to increase technical and financial support from the state for farmers, integrate innovative technologies into agriculture, and implement modern agricultural practices to boost productivity.

In the modern era, state support for the agricultural sector and, as a result, the growth of export potential and the strengthening of competitiveness have been analyzed, along with exploring ways to address existing challenges in this process. To enhance the production of competitive products, it is recommended to provide concessional loans to agricultural producers, expand the activities of scientific research centers, and implement innovations in the processing of agricultural products.

Thus, the article thoroughly examines critical issues such as increasing the export potential of the agricultural sector, strengthening state support, enhancing competitiveness, and implementing the cooperative farming model. Several recommendations are presented to address existing challenges. These approaches can ensure the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, contribute to the strengthening of Azerbaijan's agrarian economy, and enhance its position in international markets.
