Impacted Teeth: Etiology, Diagnosis, And Treatment Methods

 

Abstract

Impacted teeth are teeth that. Despite surpassing the expected eruption time, fail to fully or partially emerge into the oral cavity. This condition is associated with various etiological factors and interferes with the proper development of the dentition. Impacted teeth may lead to functional, aesthetic, and orthodontic problems, and their treatment requires an individualized approach. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment methods of impacted teeth.
