Hasan Seyidbayli's Works (1970-80s)
Abstract
One of the prominent figures of Azerbaijani culture, People's Artist Hasan Seyidbayli, made great contributions to the national cinema as both a director and a screenwriter. His knowledge in the field of literature and writing experience also influenced his scripts. H. Seyidbayli's films, along with their high artistic values, also played an important role in the promotion of national heritage and skillfully reflected the customs, history, and culture of the Azerbaijani people. Each screen work he created became a great event. In the films he brought to the stage, he tried to reveal not only the social problems of his time, but also the depths of human character. His love for his art inspired H. Seyidbayli to conquer greater heights.
