Abstract

Jewelry art is one of the oldest forms of decorative-applied art, reflecting human aesthetic taste, religious beliefs and social status. In ancient times, people crafted jewelry from natural materials such as bones, stones, and shells. Over time, these items became more intricate and aesthetically refined. Archaeological excavations in Azerbaijan confirm the long-standing tradition of jewelry making.  In Azerbaijan, local history museums play a crucial role in preserving and studying this cultural heritage.
