Application and Prospects of Intelligent Control System
in Modular Power Plant
Abstract
The development of the energy system, installed capacities, production and operation of electric energy indicate the economic development of the state and the standard of living of the population. The development of the energy system has always played an important role in the national security of the state. Power plants, transmission systems, distribution power networks, their automatic control system, and uninterrupted energy supply to consumers are complex processes. The difference between this system and other industrial sectors is that power plants operate in a variable mode. That is, energy production is produced according to demand. With changes in energy demand, production at the stations must change. For this reason, in order to maintain the required balance in the energy system, modular power plants with internal combustion engines have been built and put into operation in Baku and the regions. These stations are quickly put into operation and quickly shut down. Therefore, these stations are mainly used to maintain balance in the energy system. It is convenient to use these stations in a variable mode. Therefore, these stations have recently become widespread. On the other hand, when production at the stations changes, the failure of the elements affects other elements and disrupts the production process. In such cases, it is impossible for the operator to intervene in the process and direct it in the necessary direction.
