What Modern Methods Can Be Used in Teaching English at
the Zagatala Branch?
Abstract
The article emphasizes that in modern times, the ability to know one or more foreign languages is a necessary issue in order to integrate into the world, form one's worldview, master the culture of different countries and expand one's environment, and in particular, innovative methods used in teaching English are discussed. One of the main factors affecting the radical change in the needs and requirements of learners of this language is the significant increase in the role of English in the international world. As we know, a large number of people who are now mastering English set the main goal of having the ability to use this language as a means of communication. Being a global means of communication requires its appropriation in a communicative form, and currently the ability to use English effectively in a short time is in the spotlight.
It should also be emphasized that in our republic, which is in the process of integration into the education system of developed countries, important reforms are being carried out in the teaching of foreign languages, including English. These reforms mainly cover the content and form of education, the teaching methods used in teaching languages, student-teacher relationships, the role of the teacher and student in the learning process, and other areas. The article discusses such issues.
