The Role of Interactive Teaching Methods in Teaching the

Azerbaijani Language

Abstract

Interactive teaching methods play an important role in teaching the Azerbaijani language. These methods ensure that students engage more actively in lessons and develop their language skills. Instead of solely learning from the teacher, students express their own ideas, engage in discussions with each other, and learn various aspects of the language in an enjoyable and engaging way. This approach fosters interaction among students, enhances the language learning process, and improves their language abilities.

Through interactive methods, group work and discussions hold significant importance in teaching Azerbaijani. Students work together to deeply understand the grammatical and lexical features of the language, broadening their understanding by exchanging ideas on various topics. These methods also help develop students’ creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

The use of digital tools and technology is also a crucial part of interactive methods. Modern teaching tools, online games, interactive applications, and videos provide students with an enjoyable and effective way to learn Azerbaijani. These methods capture students’ attention, increase their interest, and make the language learning process more lively.
