Abstract
On November 19, 2024, the China International Twin Cities Conference ended in Kunming. It was noted that today China maintains sister city relations with 147 countries. The twin cities of Azerbaijan and China support each other to achieve high-quality development of Azerbaijan-China trade and economic cooperation, as well as in the fields of education and culture. From November 11 to 22, 2024, the 29th Conference (COP29) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change was held in Baku. Climate change is a serious problem related to the sustainable development of all mankind. The forum participants noted that China plays a major role in the fight against global warming.
Twin cities or related cities are cities between which permanent friendly ties have been established for mutual acquaintance with life, history and culture.
