The Issue of Applying Mathematical Methods in Military Work
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical analysis of the issues of applying mathematics in military work and the study of decision-making methodology in various combat situations through examples. The focus is on the mathematical study of quantitative changes, the methodology for using qualitative results in practice. It is concluded that the objectivity (usefulness) of the revealed regularities, their assessment depending on their adequacy to the models under study and the value added in the corresponding activity are of great importance.
