The Impact of Social Networks on Modern Journalism
Abstract
The new, fast-growing phenomenon of the Internet in the last decade has been characterized by social media. Social media is a new form of communication for content makers. To do this, the factor of joint production of content by users themselves is crucial. Each reader can perform commenters, reporters or photomed functions. This is a collection of online technologies that allow users to connect with each other.
Unlike traditional media that relies on influence, social media relies on a sense of belonging to a particular community, according to Hollis Tomazes, founder and president of the WebAdvantage.net agency. Social media includes blogs and social networks. Social media is seen by many users and observers as the only true public sphere.
