Teaching stylistics and functional use principles of language: correctness, accuracy and clarity
Abstract
One of the characteristic features of modern Azerbaijani literary language is its possession of various styles. The section that studies these styles and distinguishes their specific features is called stylistics. This article investigates the formulation of stylistics issues in scientific-methodical literature. The presentation of stylistic issues in secondary school and a brief explanation of the characteristics of all styles are provided. Additionally, different classifications and divisions of linguistic scholars are examined. The proper formation of speech from a stylistic perspective, as well as the coordination and generalization issues in teaching styles during mother tongue lessons, are explained. Furthermore, the main characteristics of speech such as correctness, accuracy, and clarity are discussed in relation to stylistics.
