Spiritual-moral Values in Zoroastrianism
Abstract
The article examines the moral and ethical values in Zoroastrianism, explains the constant struggle between good and evil, and explains how people choose the side of good and goodness in this struggle. Zoroastrianism places special emphasis on a person's right living, inner purity, moral responsibility, being just, generous, honest, and making the right choice between good and evil. Zoroastrianism shows that in the constant struggle between good and evil, a person should choose the path of goodness, stay away from evil, lies and slander. At the same time, it emphasizes that the goal of life for people and all living things is to create goodness and harmony. Zoroastrianism is a teaching that is based on good thoughts, good words, and good deeds, and that puts forward the idea of the first perfect human known to us in material and spiritual terms. It recommends that a person improve himself and restore harmony in the universe, and that society develop more justly, well, and harmoniously. Zoroastrianism promotes the adoption of high moral and ethical values and the application of these values in daily life.
