Scentific Directions of the Study of Adolescent Behavior
Abstract. The study of adolescent behavior is a research direction consisting of multidisciplinary and interconnected scientific fields, in which psychology, pedagogy, sociology and neuroscience play a key role. Adolescence is considered a critical stage of human development, as it is during this period that the social, emotional and cognitive structures of personality are formed. Scientific approaches show that an individual's behavior cannot be explained by a single factor; family relationships, peer groups, educational environment, cultural influences and technological factors all have a combined effect.
The psychological direction studies the impact of adolescents' emotional instability, self-expression and identity searches on behavior. Sociological approaches examine the impact of the social environment, family relationships, peer influence and cultural values on behavior. The pedagogical direction emphasizes the role of the upbringing and training process in the formation of behavioral norms. Neurobiological and genetic studies explain the impact of brain development, hormonal changes and genetic predispositions on behavioral patterns.
In modern research, issues such as digital behavioral psychology, the development of emotional intelligence, the prevention of risky behaviors, and digital addiction are also coming to the fore. These scientific directions are not only of theoretical importance, but also allow for practical applications in the formation of social policies and psychological support programs.
