Monitoring and Evaluation in the Digital Era: New

Approaches and Tools

 

Abstract

 

The importance and development trends of monitoring and assessment processes in education digital age are constantly under investigation at various levels. Digitalization has brought flexibility, transparency, and objectivity to the education system, enhancing the quality of teaching. Electronic journals, AI-based assessment systems, and online test platforms have strengthened the analytical approach in education. The main advantages of digital assessment include objective results, quick feedback, interactions, and personalized learning opportunities. However, data security, ethical issues, and technological gaps are some of the key problems in this field. The differences between traditional and digital assessment methods have been compared and their strengths and weaknesses analyzed. The article emphasizes the contributions of digital assessment to the education process. Pedagogical and technological preparation is noted as a necessary condition for effective implementation. It is considered advisable to form more flexible, fair, and ethically-based assessment systems in the future. Digital assessment should be regarded as an essential tool for the continuous development of education.
