Exploring the Possibilities of Using Hydrogen Energy on Ships
Abstract
The article examines the possibilities of using hydrogen energy. Global climate change and environmental pollution necessitate fundamental changes in the energy sector. Maritime transport is also not lagging behind in this area. Shipping companies and owners are beginning to look for solutions to the application of environmentally friendly green energy sources in ships built by shipyards. One of these solutions is the application of hydrogen energy technologies to obtain environmentally friendly energy in shipping and prevent environmental pollution. The application of hydrogen energy in ships is becoming more and more interesting over time in terms of environmental protection and energy efficiency.
The application of this technology in ships will allow reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The article also provides information on the current state of hydrogen energy, as well as discusses its application and advantages in ships.
Keywords: ship, hydrogen energy, energy, generator, carbon emissions
