Digital Transformation Strategies in Project Management

Abstract. Digitalization is considered one of the main development directions of modern management systems, and this process has created significant changes in the field of project management. The implementation of various digital technologies makes project planning, coordination, execution control, and risk management processes more flexible and efficient. This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of digital transformation strategies in project management and analyzes the mechanisms through which organizations adapt to the digital environment. The study evaluates the advantages created by Agile and Hybrid management approaches, artificial intelligence technologies, cloud-based platforms, big data analytics, and digital communication tools in project management. In addition, major challenges such as adaptation to technological changes, information security risks, lack of digital competencies, and organizational resistance are also considered. The findings indicate that properly developed digital transformation strategies increase operational efficiency in project management, ensure more effective use of resources, and improve the quality of decision-making processes. The article also identifies the impact of digital transformation on the future development of project management and its role in strengthening the competitive advantage of organizations.
