Cənubi Qafqazda vacib strateji coğrafi mövqeyə malik Azərbaycan Respublikasının mürəkkəb xarici münasibətləri mövcuddur. Respublika bir sıra tranzit xəttlərinin üzərində yerləşdiyindən bu onu beynəlxalq siyasi və iqtisadi əlaqələr baxımından əhmiyyətli edir. Məqalədə Azərbaycan Respublikasının iqtisadiyyat və beynəlxalq əlaqələrinin tarixi, bir sıra iqtisadi neft lahiyələrinin əhəmiyyəti, Qarabağ münaqişəsi və onun ölkənin iqtisadi-siyasi göstəricilərinə təsirləri, Azərbaycan-Çin əlaqələrinin perspektivlərindən bəhs edilməklə ümumi təhlil aparılmışdır.

Abstract
The Republic of Azerbaijan, which has an important strategic geographical position in the South Caucasus, has complex foreign relations. Since the Republic is located on a number of transit lines, this makes it important in terms of international political and economic relations. In the article, the history of the economy and international relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the importance of a number of economic oil projects, the Karabakh conflict and its effects on the country's economic and political indicators, and the prospects of Azerbaijan-China relations were analyzed.
