The Image of Saz and Ashug in Huseyn Arif's Work

 

Abstract

Huseyn Arif is one of the greatest representatives of the traditional poetry couplet genre in the 20th century. After S. Vurgun, the poet's name is among the first among those who continued this path. Huseyn Arif widely used poems, rhymes, tajnis, tales, legends and epics in his work. Huseyn Arif is engraved in our literature with written and poetic traditions. He perfectly mastered the features of the form and content of the national poetry, and did not repeat any artist whom he considered to be his master. He created a new artistic peak with his original, innovative poems and poems. Huseyn Arif, who benefited from most of the genres of oral folk literature, was more connected to the art of ozan-ashik. He has a number of poems and poems related to the images of saz and love ("Saz mukhammesi", "Ashig Alasgara", "Sazim is talking", "Saz holiday"  ̶  poems, "Saz is in the strings", "Don't touch the music", "Dilgam", "Ali kishi" poems, etc.)
